Research

Publications, academic profile, and CV of Marc Lemus-Canovas — synoptic climatology, extreme events, attribution, mountain climate.

My research focuses on understanding the link between atmospheric dynamics and extreme meteorological events — heatwaves, compound droughts, and extreme precipitation — with emphasis on the European Alps and Mediterranean region. I develop synoptic classification and attribution methods to quantify the role of climate change in shaping these extremes.
